Pay-as-you-go tenancies operate on a prepaid credit model. You add credits to your tenancy in advance, and resource usage is billed against your available balance in real time.
Billing model: Prepaid credits
Adding funds: Self-service through Administration → Billing → Add Additional Funds
Minimum top-up: $250 USD
Payment method: Credit card, processed securely through Stripe
Invoices: Not issued for credit top-ups; payment receipts are provided by Stripe
Best suited for: Customers who prefer flexible, on-demand usage without long-term commitments
Standard billed tenancies operate on a postpaid model. Resources are used throughout the billing cycle, and an invoice is issued for the total usage at the end of the period.
Billing model: Postpaid, invoiced periodically
Adding funds: Not applicable — usage is invoiced directly
Invoices: Issued through the dashboard under Administration → Invoices
Best suited for: Customers with predictable, ongoing workloads who prefer consolidated invoicing
If your needs have changed and you'd like to explore moving between tenant types — for example, from pay-as-you-go to standard billed — please reach out through Contact Support or your account manager to discuss available options.
